Nathan was a very much looked-forward-to baby, but we lost him too soon. It was heart-breaking for
all of us. Myself, His Great-Grannie, his Gran Sue, Papa, Aunt Jennie and all the family and friends
were devastated.
´*•.¸(*•.¸♥ ¸.•*´)¸.•*´ ´*•.¸(*•.¸♥ ¸.•*´)¸.•*´´*
I thought I was having a Grandson to play carry-on games and have some nonsense with. A Wee Man to
love and idolise, the way I did his Dad.

A Wee Man to build sand-castles with, to play football with, to play daft games with his Gran. To
sit in quieter moments and build his first jigsaw, learn his alphabet, numbers and colours. To enjoy
his life. But it didn't happen that way, as his life was not to be.

Nathan was a Stillborn Babe, born asleep in Yorkhill Maternity Unit, Glasgow. His dad Chris phoned
to tell me "his wee man was gone" and he could hardly speak for crying. Nothing could console
Chris, he was devastated by his son's death.
´*•.¸(*•.¸♥ ¸.•*´)¸.•*´ ´*•.¸(*•.¸♥ ¸.•*´)¸.•*´´*
Nathan had a beautiful and very moving Funeral from the Chapel at Yorkhill Hospital, and was buried
in Linn Cemetery in Castlemilk, Glasgow, in the Queen Mother's site, which holds many of the SANDS
(Stillbirth and Neo-Natal Death Society) babies, TOGETHER FOR ETERNITY.

Nathan's mum and dad were a beautiful couple, made for each other. Referred to as the 'Beckhams of
Radnor Street', they made a striking pose in the West End of Glasgow.

Nathan's dad Chris was murdered in April 2008, so they are reunited, which we know will delight
Chris, as all he ever wanted in life was to be a good Dad. He can do that now, FOREVER.
(Nathan's Angel sister, Olivia, is also with him.
Olivia is not Chris' baby but she is loved just the same, we don't make distinctions with our
babies. Olivia is our Angel, just the same as Nathan will always be. Olivia is Cathy's Angel and we
love her). xxx
